About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to drive our data governance program in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In this role, you will have the exclusive opportunity to shape the future of data governance in APJ and make a significant impact on our organization. If you are enthusiastic about data governance, possess outstanding leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tactical plans aligned with the overarching data governance strategy to drive the successful implementation of data governance practices.
  • Manage and collaborate with data stewards across the APJ region, fostering clear ownership and accountability for data quality and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain thorough data governance policies, procedures, and standards in line with regional regulations and industry standards.
  • Take charge of implementing advanced data management tools and technologies in the APJ region, ensuring smooth user adoption and integration with data governance processes.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and SOPs to facilitate efficient data governance practices.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the data governance program in the APJ region by monitoring progress and delivering insightful reports.
  • Identify and address data governance issues in the APJ region, implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies to ensure a flawless data governance framework.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of comprehensive data governance training programs for individuals in the APJ region, aiming to improve their understanding and participation in the program.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in successfully implementing data governance programs, policies, and procedures, ideally in an operational capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks, with a track record of improving data quality and ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to determine effective data governance strategies and overcome challenges.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to successfully lead and implement data governance initiatives smoothly.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with individuals across the APJ region.
  • Proficiency in data management and governance tools and technologies (preferred) to ensure the efficient implementation of data governance practices.
