Job summary:
Work on the development and execution of Total Rewards guidelines, frameworks, policies, structures, aiming to attract, retain, motivate and align South Pole's talents, using the best market practices and safeguarding business results and employee engagement. As Total Rewards Lead Specialist you will work on a variety of global total rewards -related projects as required, with an aim to elevate and expand the service offered by the Global Total Rewards team. You will work closely with the Head of Total Rewards to ensure that all Total Rewards offerings align with our TR philosophy and drive desired business outcomes.
This is a fast-paced role in which you will need to feel comfortable with managing competing demands from various stakeholders, whilst maintaining a very high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Provides training and instruction to Human Resources BPs in the day-to-day application of total rewards programs, policies, and procedures (train-the-trainer).
- In collaboration with the HRBPs maintains and reviews the job architecture on a regular basis
- Reviews and oversees fixed and variable compensation policies and cycles/grants.
- Researches and analyzes competitive compensation practices in the job market. Including participating in benchmark surveys;
- Maintains and updates compensation databases and the job description web site; consults with HR systems Leads regarding improvements and optimisations ,- Manages and collaborates, as appropriate, the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the salary review program for regular staff employees.
- Initiates and leads the development, writing, editing, and modification of operating policies, guidelines, and procedures, as appropriate.
You will succeed in this role if you possess:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in total rewards
- Advanced analytical skills to compile data, review it, assess it for trends, summarize and present it
- Detailed understanding of how TR is weaved into other aspects of HR
- Organisational sensitivity and ability to manage stakeholders at different levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain TR in a simple language
- Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint skills and affinity with Google suite preferred
