The Area Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Customer Satisfaction through on time Service Deliveries such as Timely Installation of Instrument, Performing On-Time PM & Modification, Responding & resolving Instrument issue, and achieving Service KPIs. You are also responsible for generating Service Revenue in your territory.

This position is part of the West Service Team located in Ahmedabad and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Gujrat Service Team and report to the State Service Manager responsible for Service Operation of Gujrat, Mp & CG. If you thrive in a Area Service Engineer role and want to work to build a world-class Services to our customers - Read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Installs and maintains instruments and systems in a laboratory environment. And Delivers basic operational training at installation.2. Provide effective product and customer support.3. Ensures Preventive Maintenance planning (PM) are performed in timely manner.4. Seeks timely support for difficult product issues avoiding unnecessary down time.
  2. Performs timely reporting of his activities.6. Maintains excellent customer relationship, specifically with his/her directly assigned accounts. And adheres to field service policies procedures and standards.7. Maintain recommended spare parts for his product range. The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Must be an Engineering Graduate with B.E./B.Tech. Degree
  • Should have a minimum working experience of 5 to 8 years in the relevant field with exposure in customer services (Technical) in the IVD industry.
  • Should have advance Technical Competency in one of the Product lines in IVD product. Should have adequate skills to consultatively help & support technical troubleshooting along with other functions. And able to drive corrective and preventive actions to improve service delivery based on customer feedback. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Technical field services of IVD product s (hardware & SW ) with advance Technical Skills in one product line in IVD
  • Generating Service Revenue
  • Usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) SW based for Call Handling & Closure in System
