This position is a part of our Product Design team, which harnesses the power of empathy, understanding, and customer-centricity to deliver product experiences that resonate with our users. Our designers bring a diverse range of skills and backgrounds - from design systems and visual design to interaction design and content creation. Design holds a significant place at ServiceNow, allowing our team to collaborate closely with engineering and product management right from the start.

What you get to do in this role:

  • You will lead large, intricate projects and create top-notch experiences that shape product strategy and revolutionize how people work globally.
  • You will drive end-to-end product experiences considering user needs, product ecosystems, workflows, and design standards. Additionally, you will establish frameworks and principles to streamline and guide collaborative work across teams.
  • You will oversee collaborative projects with diverse teams to deliver user-centric experiences. Furthermore, you will share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues across the organization to elevate the collective skill set.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant design experience.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing the ability to solve complex problems with elegant, user-centered design solutions based on research data.
  • Experience in developing frameworks and principles to standardize cross-functional work and successfully launching product designs independently.
  • A growth mindset, continuously exploring new areas of learning and seizing fresh opportunities and challenges.
  • Ability to advocate for design solutions grounded in human-centered principles and research data, influencing product experience strategy within a specific business unit or product line.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle for web and/or software applications.
  • Background in user experience design or relevant industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency).
