The Associate will play a pivotal role responsible for innovative & creative solution within the design team. With a focus on visual aesthetics, user experience, and brand coherence, this position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering innovative design projects, and ensuring high-quality solutions.

The Associate will help the business through innovative and high-quality design. Their solutions will foster a positive brand perception, leading to increased customer loyalty and revenue growth. Improved user experiences contribute to customer acquisition and retention. Adapting to design trends ensures the business remains agile and responsive.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead & Deliver end user experiences through exceptional craft design and execution on end-to-end journey's, collaborating and partnering with design, research, product management and development to support and advocate for modern best practices for end-to-end experience design and delivery, such as design research, journey mapping, personas, storyboards, concept designs, prototyping and final production designs for our end user experiences.
• Support design team and embrace design awareness and implementation of modern design methods and best practices to deliver the highest quality experiences.
• Ensure that the end-to-end experience journey designs meet the needs of the end user and inform and align with client & business challenges/goals.
• Collaborate and support your journey design team to deliver and elevate the end user experiences.
• Partner & Collaborate with Research, Brand Marketing, Data & Analytics, Technology, Digital and Product Lines of Business to define and execute our end user experiences at the highest possible quality for your journey team, delivering the design and execution of the end user experiences to maximise the end user's engagement and loyalty across your journey teams digital channels.
• Support and collaborate with a team of designers and design leads. You will collaborate with the digital product and technology organisations to support the end-to-end vision and strategic roadmap, producing validated design concepts and stories that establish a best-in-class experience for our end users.
• You will collaborate with and support the team, around our experience strategy goals.
• Play a supportive role in facilitating workshops to learn best practices and deliver successful outcomes.
• Mentor junior designers, fostering skill development and a collaborative team culture.
• Stay informed about emerging UX trends and technologies.

Functional Responsibilities:

Experience

• 5+ years of UX design experience, Design & People Management
• Strong and demonstrated background in experience design, consumer product design, mobile platform design in an agile delivery model.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret user feedback to improve designs.
• Good Understanding of Design Principles, design system and design tools.
• Eager to be innovative and possess a strong 'test and learn' mentality.

Skills

• User-Centered Design (UCD): Proficiency in applying UCD principles to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges.
• Prototyping and Wireframing: Proficiency in using tools for creating prototypes and wireframes to visualize and test design concepts.
• User Research: Experience in planning and conducting user research to inform design decisions.
• Information Architecture: Skill in organizing and structuring information effectively for optimal user experiences.
• Usability Testing: Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insights from user testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of technical aspects of design implementation and collaboration with development teams.

Certifications (preferred)

• Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP): Validates a comprehensive understanding of UX across various domains.
• Leadership or Executive Education Programs: Certifications or programs focusing on leadership and strategic skills development.
• Certification in Design Thinking: Reinforces skills in applying a human-centered design approach to problem-solving.
