Job Description Summary

This is a dual-hat role. The dual role of PT India CFO and LTI Factory Finance Leader involves overseeing the financial health of the entire PT India (Inclusive of the 3 factories) while also managing financial operations specific to the LTI factory. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of handling complex financial planning, risk management, and compliance, as well as ensuring efficient financial operations within the factory setting.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the India financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with APAC CFO and the 3 Site leaders & India Service leader on business planning and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.

Financial Management

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts to guide the company's strategic planning.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost control measures to maintain operational efficiency and profitability.

Compliance and Governance

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and standards, including local, state, and federal laws.
  • Internal Controls: Establish robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. (US GAAP compliance)

Cash flow and working capital management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Collections, billings, disbursements and drive past dues down

Team Leadership

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across the 3 factories, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Management: Ensure the finance team possesses the necessary skills and competencies to achieve the company's financial objectives.

OTR Finance:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the finance project controllers/OTR finance to drive standardization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and transform the way we work

LTI Factory Finance Leader

  • Factory Budgeting and Reporting: Develop and manage the factory's budget, ensuring alignment with overall company financial goals. Produce and analyze regular financial reports for factory operations.
  • Cost Analysis and Reduction: Conduct detailed cost analysis for factory operations and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate valuation and reporting.
  • Capital Expenditure: Evaluate and authorize capital expenditures for factory upgrades and expansions, ensuring ROI and alignment with strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
  • OFLP Grad
  • MFG Finance experience is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Vadodara location is preferred, however if based out of Vadodara, then monthly visits up to a stay of 1 week per month is mandatory.
