Job Designation: Estimation Team Member (Assistant Manager / Sr. Executive) – LV Switchboards (ADLEC)


Profile:

The team member is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations for LV Panels (both TTA, PTTA), Sandwich & Conventional Busducts and MV Panels (Desirable though not necessary). The activity is to be carried within the specified time frame & strictly adhering to the guidelines set by the management.

Accountable for the budgeted offer preparation & the resulting order booking of LV & MV Switchboards & Busducts Pan India.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate offer preparation against the inquiries received for LV/MV panels & Busducts.
  • Good understanding of the technical aspects of LV panels including the concepts of TTA / PTTA panels.
  • Good understanding of LV switchgear products viz. ACBs, MCCBs, Contactors, Overload relays & other associated products used for metering & protection.
  • Good understanding of numerical relays, PLCs, VFDs & Soft Starters, CT/PT & meters.
  • Good knowledge of selection of various switchgear & other associated components for various type of applications & as per the inquiry requirements.
  • Ability to read Single Line Diagrams, Bill Of Quantities in the inquiries and be able to find out if any discrepancy exists between the two.
  • Ability to understand the technical specifications, BOQ, SLD of the inquiry & raise suitable necessary comments & deviation in the offer & seek customer’s confirmation.
  • Take initiative to follow-up on the offers made to the sales team & respond directly to customer queries made against the offers submitted.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards, laws & regulations.


Desired Experience

3-8 years. Special focus on estimation of LV Panels for Metro rail, Airports, Commercial Infrastructure, Industry, MES, hospitals etc. Previous experience in these sectors is preferable.


Academic Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) / Diploma in Electrical Engg. may also be considered.
