Un Supervisor de Reservaciones desupervisa al equipo de reservaciones y la forma en que realiza procedimientos de rutina para maximizar los ingresos y la satisfacción de los huéspedes.

¿Qué voy a estar haciendo?

Como Supervisor de Reservaciones, supervisará al equipo de reservaciones y la forma en que realiza procedimientos de rutina para maximizar los ingresos y la satisfacción de los huéspedes. El Supervisor de Reservaciones trabajará con el equipo de reservaciones para crear nuevas oportunidades de negocios y repetir oportunidades existentes. Específicamente, será responsable de realizar las siguientes tareas de acuerdo con los estándares más altos:

  • Ayudar en las operaciones diarias del Departamento de Reservaciones
  • Responder las consultas realizadas por teléfono, fax o correo electrónico de manera rápida y profesional y de acuerdo con los estándares de la empresa, asegurando la precisión y la atención a los detalles en todo momento
  • Entender las tendencias de temporada e históricas y trabajar con ellas para asegurar la capacidad máxima y las tarifas de habitación promedio
  • Identificar nuevos contactos, generar contactos de ventas y responder a las oportunidades de ventas para generar mayores ingresos
  • Elaborar cotizaciones y confirmaciones por escrito para todos los clientes
  • Supervisar la satisfacción de los clientes regularmente y resolver cualquier tema pendiente para asegurar los futuros negocios
  • Asegurar que los miembros del equipo se formen de manera eficaz, contar con una total comprensión de las instalaciones y los procesos del hotel y contribuir a la cultura de estándares de alta calidad para la construcción de relaciones, la atención al cliente, las técnicas de venta y la facturación y procesamiento de los contratos
  • Asegurar que las reservaciones se garanticen, que se apliquen los cargos de no presentación o cancelación tardía cuando corresponde y que se respeten las políticas y procedimientos de reservaciones para asegurar la satisfacción de los huéspedes
  • Supervisar el aspecto, los estándares y el rendimiento del equipo de reservaciones con énfasis en la capacitación y el trabajo en equipo
  • Ayudar a reclutar, administrar, capacitar y potenciar al equipo de reservaciones

Para ocupar esta posición, es favorable demostrar las siguientes capacidades y distinciones:

  • Conocimiento de los sistemas de gestión hotelera
  • Experiencia previa en reservaciones/ventas en el sector hotelero/esparcimiento
  • Título u otra calificación relevante en una disciplina del área de empresas
