  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Perform adhoc analyses and generate reports to support business needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake to extract and manipulate data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data models and visualizations.
  • Design and implement KPIs and metrics to track business performance.
  • Work with various data sources to integrate data into Snowflake.
  • Use ETL tools and processes to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including data engineers, business stakeholders, and IT.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes.
  • Document technical specifications and user guides for Power BI reports and dashboards.
Minimum of five to nine years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
Proven experience with Snowflake and Power BI.
Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly with Snowflake.
Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Understanding of data visualization best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Certification in data analysis or business intelligence.
