Summary

As the Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our data strategy. You will lead a team of talented Dotnet developers, testers, business Analysts to design, develop, and maintain products using technologies such as Dotnet Core/Framework, MVC, Entity framework, WebAPI and other Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of developers, testers, business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  2. Oversee Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of one or few Medicaid products. You'd be the primary person responsible for the software development, maintenance and support from the offshore team. Ensure that teams are on track to deliver committed work items in the sprint.
  3. Agile delivery manager: You will be handling agile teams in Scrum and Kanban frameworks and would be required to have good understanding of the frameworks.
  4. Address blockers/Impediments: Ensure the impediments blocking the teams are resolved timely. Work with the SMEs, Scrum Masters, Proxy product owner (BA) to understand the blockers and involve right stakeholders to see they are addressed timely.
  5. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, ensuring the deliverables done by the team meet quality standards prescribed by the organization.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Architects, SMEs, Product/Proxy Product Owners, to understand business needs and translate them into incremental products.
  7. Maintain metrices and KPIs: Maintain the metrices and KPIs and should be able to present it with leadership team to review as needed.
  8. SAFe experience: Having handled teams in SAFe Framework would a plus.
  9. Security and Compliance: Ensure that data handling practices adhere to data security and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulations.
  10. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and BI solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
  11. Budget and Resource Management: Manage the budget and resources for the Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams, ensuring efficient allocation and cost-effective operations.
  12. Conflict Management: Engage to see that inter/intra team conflicts are resolved timely and they don't hinder the team's deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading product development teams in Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
  • Should have handled product development teams of 25-30 team members.
  • Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in relevant technologies or project management.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in a similar role within the [industry/sector] domain.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum framework.
  • Certification in Scrum and SAFe is good to have.

Essential Job Functions Manages the development of new product ideas and the enhancement of existing products; manages the design, pricing and marketing of products and services to provide support for the full life cycle of products and product lines. Manages the creation of technical models which serve as blueprints for project engagements of various complexities. Manages the tracking of market dynamics and potential market size to identify new and existing account development opportunities to sales teams to increase market share. Manages relationships with customers, brand management and development groups to act as a primary point of contact to provide input on customer product and operational requirements. Manages and maintains revenue forecast information; identifies fluctuations to financial targets and adjusts strategies to realize financial commitments for sale of multiple products and product lines. Implements changes or adjusts to strategies in other products or lines based upon the information. Manages the enhancement of product sales by supporting relationships with verticals, partners, systems integrators, consultants, and professional services organizations to enhance client relationships. Manages the team in influencing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction in area of responsibility and related issues. Identifies issues or opportunities, determines course of action and implements same. Manages and provides technical assistance and support to less experienced product managers to ensure client satisfaction. Manages and participates in discussions regarding project decisions and project direction at the executive level. Determines approach and implements same. Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines. Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree in marketing, business, administration, or related field preferred Twelve or more years of experience in product management Eight or more years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience working with product systems design principles and customization strategies when integrating hardware or software products Experience working with financial operations concepts, practices, and procedures Experience working with product systems design principles Other Qualifications Good personal computer and business solutions software skills Strong skills in product development methodology such as vision and strategy (VS), business area architecture (BAA), ierative custom development (ICD), package-based development (PBD) or accelerated application development (X/AD) Strong organization and time management skills Strong communication skills Good presentation skills to present ideas or tasks to individuals and groups Strong skills in project planning and estimation, and managing risks during product launches Strong creative thinking/designing skills Good leadership skills to mentor, motivate and provide guidance to project personnel Financial management skills Ability to anticipate problems, handle and resolve ambiguity and take decisive action, with regard to the
