Job Title: Head of Operations

Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to join our team as the Head of Operations (Agro chemicals/specialty chemicals). As a leading chemical manufacturing company based in India, we are committed to delivering high-quality products while upholding safety standards and environmental sustainability.

Qualification and experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A postgraduate degree in Operations Management or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within the agrochemical/specialty chemicals manufacturing industry.

Age wise: early 50s.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

- Supply Chain Management: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.

- Health, Safety, and Environment: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and promoting environmental sustainability practices.

- Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage the annual operational budget, monitoring and controlling costs to achieve financial targets.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal departments, external suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and process excellence.

- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
