Senior Manager - Forecasting:

Our Human Health Division prioritizes patient well-being above all. We have a team of dedicated professionals in sales, marketing, market access, digital analytics, and commercial roles, all working together to deliver our medicines to customers worldwide.

The Human Health Forecasting team plays a crucial role in predicting the performance of our pharmaceutical assets across different stages of their lifecycle. This includes assets in Oncology, Vaccines, Hospital Specialty, and Primary care. The forecasts generated by this team are essential for various functions within the organization such as finance, manufacturing, and product development.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Senior Manager in Forecasting for Business Development within the Global Commercial Assessment and Forecasting team in Pune. This role involves forecasting for business development activities, which presents challenges like limited information and tight timelines. A strong grasp of Oncology, diverse therapeutic knowledge, familiarity with data sources, and advanced Excel skills are key for success.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Supporting forecasting activities for New Product Development and Business Development & Licensing
  • Collaborating with global stakeholders to assess the commercial potential of various assets
  • Developing accurate revenue forecasts using appropriate methodologies
  • Conducting thorough research to inform forecast assumptions and aligning with stakeholders
  • Providing reliable revenue forecasts to support investment decisions
  • Creating business development assessments using syndicated datasets
  • Working efficiently to meet accelerated timelines
  • Sharing best practices with other teams and driving innovation

Qualifications and skills required:

  • 8+ years of experience in roles related to pharmaceutical strategic forecasting and business development
  • Prior experience in Oncology for 3-4 years
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel
  • Strong industry knowledge in drug development, disease states, and market trends
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations and range forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills
