**Job Description**

Team Overview

Join our ITAM Content Management team, dedicated to providing global customers with a unified platform for managing all their IT Assets efficiently. An essential aspect of effective IT Asset Management is to standardize hardware and software discovery data and align them for optimal asset management. This necessitates an extensive collection of hardware and software models from prominent manufacturers, along with standardization rules. We are assembling a team to oversee this content service, a pivotal element of our IT Asset Management solution.

Role Summary

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing the content services, a crucial component of our ITAM product facilitating customers in managing all IT assets while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities in this role:

  • Create content to support content standardization service
  • Conduct research on various publishers, products, and relevant software content in the industry to develop the necessary content repository for our ITAM standardization
  • Guide and supervise a team of data analysts in exploring market information on various public domain products and standardize them in our content databases
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to devise and implement the content service modules
  • Devise and implement manual and automated systems to maintain up-to-date content data as needed
  • Conduct peer reviews of content for quality assurance
  • Offer technical solutions for managing content data challenges, including creating tools & basic applications
  • Design and implement processes and controls for sustaining and publishing new content
  • Establish and manage a Technical Lab for proactive content management
  • Develop and maintain project and knowledgebase documentation
  • Assist in resolving customer issues by engaging with customers and internal teams when required
  • Provide training to team members in your areas of expertise
  • Share insights with the Infrastructure team on potential automation and infrastructure enhancements
  • Engage with major publishers through various channels to comprehend their licensing models, product releases, etc.
**Desired Qualifications**

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Seven or more years of experience in IT Asset Management (Hardware and/or Software)
  • Solid understanding of ITAM tools like ServiceNow, SNOW, FlexNet, SCCM, MAP, ILMT, etc.
  • Deployed SAM tools in Global environments such as ServiceNow, SNOW, FlexNet, etc.
  • Exposure to emerging ITAM trends like Enterprise Software Asset Management, Cloud Asset Management, SaaS license management, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of Software licensing for various publishers like Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, IBM, Symantec, Red Hat, etc.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate with different teams to fulfill content commitments
  • Familiarity with various engagement/contract types offered by major publishers like Microsoft: EA, Adobe: TLP, CLP, etc.
  • Experience with scripting to retrieve information using tools such as SCCM is advantageous
  • Understanding of Suites, bundled products, life cycles, licensing metrics, license types, part numbers, downgrades, etc.
  • Capability to manage products and related entities during merger/acquisition scenarios
  • Demonstrated experience in independently driving projects forward
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Content-related experience in a Data Content-focused project is beneficial
  • Passion for research and problem-solving across various challenges
