Your role and responsibilities

Handling cyber security activities for the product portfolio and projects
Performing cyber security robustness evaluation related tasks for the products and applications across the business
Collaborating with cyber security engineers in other research and development centers in Europe for the business
Collaborating with multiple product development / R&D teams in resolving cyber security vulnerabilities and strengthening cyber security architecture of ABB products and applications
Evaluating of new security evaluation platforms and tools and check their adaptability to strengthen cyber security test framework
Providing input about security recommendations to end user documentation and R&D internal documentation

Qualifications for the role
  • Master's degree in engineering from one of disciplines like electronics / computer science / networking / cyber security
  • 4 to 6 years of experience with port scanning, vulnerability assessment and fuzzing tools such as Achilles, Nessus and Nmap, Burp suite, MobSF, Peach, Slowhttp, Arachni etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of embedded system architecture, SCADA protocols, TCP/IP networking, socket programming concepts
  • Knowledge about relevant technologies (windows security concepts, cloud security concepts, understanding of cryptography, understanding of firewall technology, secure design and development etc.)
  • Good knowledge of the HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and other protocols associated with web technologies
  • Proficient with one of the scripting languages such as shell, python, ruby etc. is a plus
