This position reports to

R&D / Technology Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Developing cyber security requirements and designs
Responsible for designing M&A's cloud, web, mobile and SW (desktop) applications
Driving awareness in the team on cyber security risks, requirements and compliance
Tracking and reporting compliance to ABB cyber security standards in development
Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in threat modeling, VAPT, cyber security. Experience with information security concepts and design principles
  • Experience in web application, mobile application security. Familiarity with secure development Lifecycle. Security practices like patch management, vulnerability handling, threat modelling, system hardening
  • Experience with diagnostics and monitoring tools, vulnerability assessment and test tools. Understanding on digital certificates and PKI infrastructure. Experience with threat modeling
  • Understanding on best practices and weaknesses in cyber security like OWASP, CWE, CVE. Microsoft Azure security concepts on ADFS, IoT Hub, security center
  • Experience with scripting, programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl etc.). Updated and familiarized with the latest exploits and security trends, architecture and integration skills
  • Understanding of ethernet based communication protocols like modbus, OPCUA, HTTP, MQTT, AMQP. Exposure to cyber security standards like ISA-62443
