Your role and responsibilities

Understanding the present Data Center Automation market requirements and provide suitable solutions by selecting the appropriate technology
Involving and supporting R&D development activities in the testing of new applications or new products
Providing broad technical support and training, if required, to clients using ABB solutions in the data center industry
Working directly on Library development tasks, provide technical leadership, coordinate with other resources, and create high-quality DCA Libraries within the defined schedules
Providing the DCA market requirements and use case inputs to the R&D team, helping and involving in designing the new application development
Being expected to become proficient in using ABB Control Systems and DCA Products in configuring and troubleshooting
Understanding, analyzing and helping the R&D development team on customer cases related to existing releases of DCA Products
Communicating with management on the planning and progress of activities

Qualifications for the role
  • Diploma / B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering)
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering and/or commissioning various automation systems for data center projects, and/or other process industries.
  • Knowledge of PLC, DCS, and network architecture is a must
  • Should be conversant with at –least one of the automation systems of ABB (800xA system, AC800 M series controllers, AC500 series Controllers) /Siemens/Honeywell/Rockwell
  • Must have good knowledge in developing System 800xA Libraries and good knowledge in IEC61131 programming
  • Must have good knowledge in interfacing various protocols like Modbus, OPC-UA/DA, BACnet, Profibus, and Ethernet I/P
  • Knowledge of Networking concepts (Network architecture design, switch, router, and firewall configurations)
