We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our Insight Investment team. This role is located in Chennai.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Partner with Operations, Developers, Production Support, Configuration management and Change management team to perform the assigned tasks.
- Tracks and executes database customizations to apply in Oracle environment.
- Proactively monitor databases and their alerts to apply the solutions as needed to resolve the issue.
- Escalate any database performance issue and determine its severity with the help of production support and determines the next course of action.
- Participate in production issues and swiftly provide solutions to oracle incidents.
- Work with Oracle service requests and follow up with Oracle to issue resolutions.
- Work with Oracle System DBA to perform database duplicates and design solutions around database duplicates.
- Should be flexible enough to support a weekend in a month. And to support an evening shift in a week.
- Promptly available to join calls and help team on Oracle and its related internals.
- Should be flexible enough to perform in pressuring situations.
- Capable of designing solutions and implementing them to improve the process.
- Help design and maintain data purge process.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 6+ years of expertise into Production support
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication, both in listening and conveying messages to a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Technical proficiencies:
- Strong experience into Batch Support
- SQL coding and debugging.
- SQL performance tuning.
- Control-M
- Good to have- Markit EDM / Cadis
- Rotational shifts including Night shift
