Position Overview


AYOO Care is seeking a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to lead and shape our integrated mental health program. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of psychiatrists and psychotherapists to deliver high-quality outpatient psychiatric services to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, including prescribing and managing psychotropic medications.
  • Collaborate with the mental health team, offering professional consultation and constructive feedback to strengthen our healthcare framework.
  • Represent AYOO Care in public forums, as needed, to advocate for mental health awareness and education.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and reports to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, educational initiatives, and professional committees to uphold best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers to deliver holistic, integrated care when required.
  • Provide clinical supervision as needed, ensuring consistently high standards of care.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
  • Expertise: Proven proficiency in psychotropic medication management and evidence-based mental health treatments.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and written abilities; strong team collaboration skills.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Hindi and English is required. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or other regional languages.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (preferred).
  • Versatility: Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Mindset: A compassionate, proactive approach to patient care and a commitment to excellence.
