Role Summary-
The position focuses on designing, implementing, and governing employee policies to ensure fairness, compliance, and alignment with organizational values and business needs. It also involves leading employee recognition initiatives to foster engagement, transparency, and a culture of appreciation.

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Activities
- Support the Head – Rewards in designing and implementing the organization’s employee policy framework, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with business priorities.
- Develop and periodically review people policies by benchmarking against industry best practices to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
- Oversee governance and audit mechanisms for employee policies to ensure uniform interpretation, adherence, and effective communication across the organization.
- Own the SkyFam portal from an HR lens — ensuring effective utilization, content governance, policy integration, and user experience optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HRBPs, Comp & Ben, IT, and Communications to ensure seamless policy implementation.
- Leverage analytics and feedback to continuously improve policy effectiveness, recognition impact, and overall employee experience.
- Provide insights and periodic reports to the Head – Rewards and leadership on policy governance and portal performance metrics.

Key Interfaces-
- Leadership Interfaces- Provide periodic updates and insights on employee policy governance, recognition effectiveness, and portal utilization
- Act as a subject matter expert in matters related to people policies, governance frameworks, and employee recognition strategy
- Head – HRBP-Collaborate to ensure consistent implementation and communication of employee policies across business units
- Work jointly on policy interpretation, exception management, and employee query resolution.
- Head – HR Systems / IT- Collaborate to ensure smooth functioning, enhancements, and data integrity of the SkyFam portal
- Oversee integration of policy and recognition modules within HR systems
- Consultants / Benchmarking Partners / Platform Vendors- Engage with external partners for policy benchmarking, best practice studies, and recognition platform management
- Ensure vendor performance, service quality, and alignment with organizational requirements
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree/diploma in Personnel/Human Resource Management
- 4 years of experience in COEs with a strong focus on employee policies & governance.
- Experience in the aviation sector is an added advantage
