This role requires someone who can take complete ownership of engineering delivery, guide a team of 10+ developers, and drive architectural and technical excellence while also aligning closely with product and business goals.You will spend 60-70% of your time on core technology decisions and hands-on involvement, and 30-40% on functional leadership including delivery, team performance, and stakeholder collaboration.What you'll do? Technical Ownership (70%)• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET(C#) and MSSQL.• Provide technical guidance, architecture reviews, and hands-on mentorship to the engineering team.• Maintain high standards of software quality through code reviews and development best practices.• Identify and address technical debt, system performance issues, and potential bottlenecks.• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements in tools and frameworks.Team & Delivery Management (30-40%)• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 10+ engineers across backend, frontend, and database functions.• Drive engineering planning, sprint execution, and timely delivery of features in collaboration with Product and QA.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, ve locity, and operational efficiency.• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.Required Skills & Experience• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in .NET (C#) and MSSQL.• At least 3-4 years in a managerial or leadership role leading 10+ engineers.• Strong background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or SaaS product development.• Experience in delivering enterprise-grade platforms with focus on reliability, performance, and security.• Proven track record in technical decision-making, delivery management, and cross-functionalcollaboration.Nice to Have:• Familiarity with web technologies like Angular, React.• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.• Experience with additional databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).• Agile/Scrum experience and understanding of DevOps principles.Criteria for the Role• 10+ years in software development with deep expertise in .NET (C#) and MSSQL.• Experience with scalable, secure, high-performance application architecture.• Familiarity with cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, and web tech (Angular/React).• Understanding of DevOps and Agile practices.• Knowledge of multiple databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).• 3–4+ years managing engineering teams (10+ engineers).• Ability to mentor, conduct code reviews, and lead engineering practices.• Experience driving sprints, collaborating with Product/QA, timely delivery.• Delivery of enterprise-grade platforms with focus on performance/reliability.• Domain Knowledge Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or SaaS product development• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability.• Culture-building, innovation encouragement, and continuous learning mindset.Competencies• Expert-level proficiency in .NET (C#) and MSSQL• Advanced understanding of system architecture• Enforce code quality through advanced code review practices• Intermediate-level experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)• Nice to have for full-stack understanding• Basic to intermediate knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular or React• Advanced team leadership capabilities• Advanced proficiency in delivery management• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills• Monitor and act upon key performance indicators (KPIs)• Advanced problem-solving skills• Exceptional communication abilities• Accountability and ownership• Intermediate to advanced orientation toward innovation and continuous learning• Strategic thinking at an intermediate level
