Job Description :


HMI Design and Development :


- Lead the design and development of intuitive and user-friendly HMI systems for various applications.


- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create HMI frameworks that ensure usability and accessibility.


- Define and implement best practices for HMI architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.


System Integration :


- Ensure seamless integration of HMI systems with other system components, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.


- Work closely with hardware engineers to align HMI design with hardware capabilities and Evaluation and Implementation :


- Evaluate and select appropriate HMI technologies, tools, and frameworks.


- Stay updated on the latest trends in HMI technologies and incorporate them into the system architecture as needed.


- Lead the implementation of advanced HMI features such as gesture control, voice recognition, and augmented reality.


Performance Optimization :


- Monitor and optimize the performance of HMI systems to ensure smooth and responsive user interactions.


- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the HMI design.


Standards and Compliance :


- Ensure that HMI designs comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly in safety-critical environments like automotive or industrial automation.


- Define and enforce HMI design guidelines and standards across projects.


Technical Skills :


- HMI Development Tools : Proficiency in tools like Qt, WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, or other HMI/SCADA software.


- Programming Languages : Strong knowledge of programming languages like C++, C#, Java, Python, and scripting languages used in HMI development.


- 3D Modeling & Animation : Experience with tools like Blender or Unity for creating 3D models and animations that may be part of advanced HMI systems.


- Embedded Systems : Understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller programming, particularly for hardware-specific HMI development.


- Networking : Knowledge of industrial networking protocols like OPC UA, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.
