Job Title: HMI Architect

Job Summary:

Talpro is seeking an experienced HMI Architect to lead the design and development of intuitive and user-friendly HMI systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HMI development, user experience design, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HMI systems that ensure usability, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create HMI frameworks that meet usability and accessibility standards.
  • Define and implement best practices for HMI architecture, ensuring maintainability and performance.
  • Ensure seamless integration of HMI systems with other system components, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate HMI technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in HMI technologies and incorporate them into the system architecture as needed.
  • Lead the implementation of advanced HMI features such as gesture control, voice recognition, and augmented reality.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of HMI systems to ensure smooth and responsive user interactions.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the HMI design.
  • Ensure that HMI designs comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly in safety-critical environments.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HMI development tools such as Qt, WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, or other HMI/SCADA software.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, and scripting languages used in HMI development.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools such as Blender or Unity.
  • Understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.
