Your role is of key importance, as it lays down the foundation for the entire project.TCS Hiring for ZDLRA Database AdministratorExperience Range: - 5Yrs to 8 YrsJob Locations : Pan IndiaJob ResponsibilitiesPrimary point of contact for all Oracle ZDLRA or ZFS.Will work closely with database teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.Actively manage the performance of the various Oracle backup solutions, including capacity planning and tuning.Coordinate with other team members to ensure software consistency across the Oracle landscape.Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all Oracle database related changes.Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of database technology.Works with internal and external customers to understand their requirements in order to form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.Provide input on, and support new projects affecting the Oracle database landscape.Engage and interface directly with Oracle as required for product support/questions.Defines solutions by identifying requirements and writing functional specifications; consults with technical subject matter experts.Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities; contributes to cost versus benefit measures.Performs related duties as assigned.Travel is estimated at 15%.Minimum Qualification:15 years of full-time educationBS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
