Pay Rate: ₹4000 per day + Travel & Accommodation Provided


Position Summary

The OT (Operational Technology) Device and App Survey Consultant - Senior will play a crucial role in assessing and optimizing the integration of devices, applications, and systems within operational technology environments. This position involves conducting comprehensive surveys, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to enhance system efficiency, security, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Survey and Assessment

  • · Conduct detailed surveys of OT devices, applications, and systems to identify operational inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • · Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, priorities, and constraints for OT environments.
  • · Document inventory of hardware and software assets, including legacy systems and emerging technologies.
  • Analysis and Reporting
  • · Analyze survey data to detect patterns, vulnerabilities, and trends within existing OT frameworks.
  • · Create detailed reports and dashboards summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • · Develop actionable roadmaps to implement improvements in device and application functionality, security, and compliance.

Technical Consultation

  • · Offer expert advice on device and application upgrades, replacements, and integration strategies.
  • · Assist teams in aligning OT systems with corporate IT policies and best practices.
  • · Provide technical guidance for system optimization and risk mitigation strategies.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • · Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • · Lead workshops and training sessions to educate staff about OT systems and their functionalities.
  • · Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive project success.


Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • · Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in operational technology, industrial systems, or related areas.
  • · Proven expertise in OT device management, app assessment, and system integration.

Technical Competencies

  • · Strong understanding of OT and IoT (Internet of Things) devices, applications, networks, and protocols.
  • · Experience with tools and platforms for device and application surveys, such as asset management software or auditing frameworks.
  • · Knowledge of cybersecurity measures tailored to OT environments, including risk assessment and threat mitigation techniques.


Soft Skills

  • · Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
  • · Strong communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • · Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments.
