The ATO Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software meets requirements, and is ready for field use, by executing Azure DevOps (ADO) test plans and performing exploratory testing.

  • Perform manual desktop application testing for new and modified forms.
  • Run comprehensive regression suites at the form and program levels.
  • Follow ADO test cases to ensure that our software satisfies requirements, is usable, and meets ATO standards.
  • Examine and document testing results, create bugs in ADO, provide assistance to the team, and test corrections.
  • Offer suggestion for enhancements to test cases and testing processes.
  • Participate in Project and Team meetings, including the daily QA Team Scrum meeting each morning at 10:00 AM (US Eastern Time).
  • Be an active and engaged member of the team, assisting teammates, participate in Microsoft Teams chats, answering team questions and generally sharing information and experience.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the QA manager, or QA Leads.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance processes for software application testing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO JOB
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Well organized and disciplined in following process.
  • Works well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

EXPERIENCE
  • 2 to 5 years of QA experience or related work experience
