There’s never been a more exciting time to be in BusinessOnBot.We are on a mission to help a million+ consumer brands with automated sales and user acquisition via omni channels (WhatsApp/Instagram/Email and SMS)Position Overview:This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant at BOB. He/She will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to accounting, bookkeeping, Bank reconciliation and preparation of MIS, other Adhoc requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, and accuracy in maintaining financial records.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation activities.Record and maintain all financial transactions accurately in accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books)Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoice generation, follow-up on collections, and vendor payments.Perform bank reconciliations regularly and ensure all financial records are up to date.Prepare & file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances in coordination with external consultants or auditors.Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.Provide management with insights and financial summaries to support decision-making and strategic planning.Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reportingKnowledge of tax regulations and advisoryAbility to analyze financial data and produce accurate reportsExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsProficient in using accounting software like tally, Zoho and MS Excel is a mustAttention to detail and accuracy in maintaining recordsStrong organizational and time management skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant degree or certification in accounting or financeExperience in a similar role is a plusExperience in a start-up environment is desirable.Benefits:Exposure to SaaS product workflows and direct collaboration with product & tech teamsOpportunity for career advancement in support, customer success, or operationsPositive and collaborative work culture
