We're expanding our MSSP practice and looking for a hands-on leader to own SOC delivery, client engagement, and operational maturity.
The Role
We're hiring a Full-Time SOC/NOC Manager to lead our MSSP service delivery for a high-profile public agency. You'll serve as the primary point of contact, manage a global analyst team, and help design and scale our managed security operations. This is a strategic and technical leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in both day-to-day execution and long-term process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Act as primary client-facing POC for TRS NYC and other MSSP clients
- Lead 24x7 SOC/NOC operations with a team of India-based Tier 2 analysts
- Build and manage:
- Alert triage workflows and escalation procedures
- Detection logic tuning (InsightIDR, CrowdStrike Falcon)
- Vulnerability Management (InsightVM)
- Threat Intelligence integration (IOC tagging, RCA support)
- Own SLAs, KPIs, and monthly reporting
- Establish redundancy plans, shift schedules, and documentation processes
- Develop MSSP SOPs, training modules, and onboarding playbooks
- Provide input into hiring, QA, tooling strategy, and automation opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years managing a SOC, NOC, or MSSP operation
- Strong working knowledge of InsightIDR, InsightVM, and CrowdStrike Falcon
- Proven ability to lead globally distributed teams and ensure 24x7 coverage
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident lifecycle best practices
- Experience working with public-sector or regulated environments a strong plus
- Based in the U.S. and available full-time (remote role)
