Role: The Founder Principal will be the Head of School and shall be responsible for establishing the vision, culture, and day-to-day operations from the ground up. Unlike an established principal, this role has an entrepreneurial focus, creating all academic and administrative structures from inception. Job Description:The Founder Principal shall serve as the educational and operational leader and will be responsible for building the new school in alignment with the Kiya World School's mission and values. This role requires a dynamic educator and leader who can manage all phases of development, from initial strategy and planning to recruitment, program development, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic leadership and visionEstablish vision and mission: Champion Kiya World School's educational vision, mission, and core values. Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to meet school objectives and growth targets.Build school culture: Create a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving school culture that aligns with the Kiya World School's values. Foster an environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.Guide policy development: Develop and implement all school policies and procedures related to academics, discipline, and administration. Academic and curricular developmentDesign curriculum: Work with faculty members to implement the school curriculum that meets educational standards and prepares students for future success.Drive instructional excellence: Set clear academic goals and benchmarks. Observe, evaluate, and provide feedback to faculty to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.Utilize data for improvement: Implement school-wide systems for collecting and analyzing student achievement data to inform curriculum adjustments and instructional decisions. Operational and financial managementOversee administration: Manage all operational aspects of the school, including budgeting, financial management, facilities, and resource allocation.Manage regulations and accreditation: Ensure the school complies with all local, state, and national regulations. Coordinate the school's efforts toward accreditation.Lead admissions: Work with the marketing and admissions teams to attract and enroll new students, build the initial student body, and handle all related communications. Staff recruitment and managementRecruit and hire staff: Lead the hiring process for all faculty and staff, building a team that is talented, mission-driven, and aligned with the school's culture.Cultivate leadership: Mentor and develop leadership qualities in others, preparing the team for the school's growth and ensuring a pipeline of future leaders.Professional development: Plan and implement a professional development program to continuously improve teaching and support staff performance. Community and stakeholder relationsEngage families: Foster strong, trusting relationships with parents and guardians. Involve families as active partners in their children’s education through meetings, workshops, and transparent communication.Represent the school: Serve as the primary public representative of the school, engaging with the broader community to enhance the school’s reputation and secure external support. Required skills and qualificationsExperience: Proven track record in a school leadership or similar administrative role, with some specific experience with administrative responsibilities preferred.Educational background: A master's degree in Educational Leadership, Education Administration, or a related field.Vision and strategy: Ability to refine and execute a compelling, long-term vision for the school.Leadership and management: Exceptional skills in collaborative leadership, staff supervision, and team-building.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate the school's mission to diverse audiences.Resilience: The ability to thrive under pressure and manage the unique demands and ambiguities of a startup environment.Financial acumen: Experience with budget creation, financial planning, and resource management is an added advantage. CBSE and Cambridge Curriculum experience is highly desirable. Number of Vacancies: 2 Locations: This is an on site role for our Campuses in Vizag and Hyderabad.
