  1. To assist the team regarding contract management for the schemes under operation & maintenance.
  2. Shall support TL and represent the Consultant team in case TL is not present
  3. Shall function as technical advisor in supervision of all the schemes
  4. Shall assist in coordinate with other experts in delivering the entire scope of work
  5. Responsible for overall construction management, quality assurance and administration of the contracts
  6. Shall assist MPJN in correspondence to clarifications from the contractors in technical aspects
  7. Shall oversee the contractor’s submission documents and coordinate for reviewing the contractor’s submissions
  8. Undertake site visits at least twice a month ensuring coverage of all the PIUs / schemes during contract period
  9. Monitor the operation & maintenance work of contractors(s) and check if they are following the contract agreement and achieving service level benchmarks.
  10. To assist the team regarding billing including verification of bills based on reports from field and the relevant contract
  11. Check and recommend contractor(s) payment requests during O&M period.


Requirements:

  1. Graduate in civil engineering / environmental engineering / construction management / public health engineering.
  2. Should have at least 15 years’ experience in civil infrastructure.
  3. Should have worked in project management, design, and construction supervision including contract management & quality management of water supply projects with transmission pipeline, distribution pipeline, and elevated tanks including pipe crossing the railways, highways and rivers. (Preferably in Government Projects)
  4. Should have at least 2 water supply project experience with capacity of 10 MLD or more
