Job role: Learning & Development ManagerDuration: Full TimeLocation: Delhi, UttarakhandExperience: 5+ yearsOverview The Learning and Development (L&D) manager will be responsible for onboarding and conducting comprehensive training programs for the new joiners. Their role extends to identifying learning needs, crafting training materials, facilitating sessions and ensuring the development of a competent and motivated workforce. He will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and cultivating a positive & enriching environment within the organizationJob Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the company's values, objectives, and guest service standardsConduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and hands-on activities for staff across multiple hostel locationsUtilize diverse training methodologies, including in-person training, online modules, practical simulations, and role-playing exercisesDevelop and oversee a comprehensive onboarding program for new staff members, introducing them to the hostel's culture, values, and expectationsEnsure that new employees receive the necessary training and support to excel in their rolesCollaborate with department heads to identify performance gaps and recommend targeted training interventionsMonitor and assess staff performance post-training, providing guidance and follow-up support as neededImplement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programsGather feedback from staff and management to continuously enhance training materials and methodologiesRegularly review training content to ensure alignment with evolving industry trends and best practicesTravel regularly to various hostel locations to deliver training sessions, conduct assessments, and ensure consistent training implementationMaintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomesGenerate insightful reports on training effectiveness, areas for improvement, and emerging training needsQualificationsBachelor's degree in hotel managementProven experience in training and development within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hostel or hotel settingExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to design and deliver engaging and interactive training contentFlexibility and willingness to travel frequently to various hostel locationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in training software and toolsAnalytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure outcomesEnthusiasm for cultural diversity and an understanding of backpackers' needs and expectation
