Manager - Maintenance (H1)

Location: Delhi

JOB PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Achieves maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meets maintenance financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides engineering support by responding to requests for mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complies with codes by adhering to requirements; advising senior management on needed actions.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Updates mechanical engineering job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances facilities services and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Ensure that the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs make significant contribution to the reduction of Maintenance costs and to the increase of equipment availability.
• Ensures that all Maintenance personnel provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
• That performance feedback data is used to strengthen the achievements of the Maintenance Department.
• Implement appropriate corrective actions in response to preventative and predictive Maintenance data.
• Ensure predictive and preventative Maintenance activities are properly documented and that documentation is controlled and available to all Maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate precision Maintenance technologies including, but not limited to, machinery alignment, rotating equipment balancing, and lubrication.
• Manage critical spare part inventory.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems by identifying and analyzing malfunctions, determining causes of problems, and developing and implementing corrective action.
• Recommend and implement systems and processes to improve productivity, product quality and employee safety.
• Coordinate programs such as emergency, preventive and predictive Maintenance to insure optimum equipment capability.
• Identify training needs and capability “gaps”. Implements training and development plans for Maintenance employees to ensure employee competency.
• Continuously improve operational processes by leveraging personal and team knowledge and expertise.
• Maintain effective systems for employee communications, continuous improvement and other systems that support business objectives.
• That the records, reports, and charts are kept up to date as an aid to improve Maintenance support services.
• Overall in charge of the Maintenance activities.
• Drawing up and implementation of Preventive Maintenance Schedules of Equipment.
• Monitoring all the Maintenance of Equipment done in Maintenance Centre & with outside parties.
• Responsible for the allocation work, maintaining and preparation of comprehensive report
• Ensure only one manager on leave/OFF, so that one manager is present in all the days, they can recommend leave to technicians, shift technicians considering the man power requirement for the routine checks, servicing and break down repairs.
• Ensuring updating of Maintenance Records in the BOS.
• Monitoring of Refueling of Equipment and Diesel, Engine Oil and Hydraulic Oil consumption & Maintenance of fuel, record through BOS.
• Monitoring of Job order bills and cash bills certification.
• Projecting and demanding spares requirement for and monitoring spares availability for various ongoing jobs & for replenishment of stock.
• Indigenization and Import substitution.
• Monitoring of impress cash & settlement
• Fulfilling mandatory requirements as per Factories Act for Factory inspector’s inspection – vis-a-vis Pressure Vessels, Fire Points in Workshop, Electrical Equipment Safety requirements etc., and adherence to safety norms.
• Ensure cleanliness of workshop & stores.
• Monitoring of Safety Audit requirements of ISAGO Customer Airlines
• Calibration Check of Instruments of Equipment used on Aircraft, Load Test of GPU’s, Inspection dates on Fire Extinguisher Trolleys, Jacks etc.
• Monitoring AO requirements on Safety / Security – AEP, AVP, ADP’s etc.
• Organizing Periodic Training of Technicians on Emergency Procedures for retrieval of Equipment.
• Authorized to sign material gate pass and fuel vouchers
• Any other assignments allotted from time to time.
• He will be assisted by the Assistant Manager, DM’s and Supervisors
• Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations.
• You will be responsible and accountable to make necessary operational decisions related to safety and security matters at all times whilst on duty.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Equivalent GSE Experience.

• 96 months of experience in the relevant field
• Have demonstrated ability in preparing managing report and data analysis.
• Should be able to handle a mass manpower
• Should possess good command over computer application.
• Possesses openness to new challenges
• Willingness to go beyond the challenges and meet the deadlines.
• Possesses good communication skills.
• Should have the ability to solve problems
• Should be service oriented
