The Jaipur Studio is a women’s ethnic wear brand rooted in Indian heritage and crafted for the modern woman. We blend timeless prints, rich fabrics, and everyday comfort to create elegant pieces for work, celebrations, and daily wear. We sell through our own stores and website, and we’re building a strong digital-first brand from Jaipur.

We’re now looking for a Visual Communication / Graphic Designer who can make our brand look and feel as beautiful as the clothes we create.


Role Summary

As a Visual Communication / Graphic Designer at The Jaipur Studio, you will be responsible for all brand visuals across online and offline touchpoints. From social media and website banners to in-store branding and packaging, you will own how The Jaipur Studio appears to the world.

This is an in-house role where you will work directly with the founders, marketing team, and photographers to create designs that are not just aesthetic, but also drive engagement, store visits, and sales.


Key Responsibilities

1. Brand & Visual Identity

  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines (colors, typography, motifs, borders, layouts).
  • Ensure visual consistency across website, social media, store, packaging, and ads.
  • Translate brand values – heritage, comfort, elegance – into strong visual concepts.


2. Social Media & Digital Creatives

  • Design creatives for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other platforms:
  • Static posts, carousels, stories, reel covers, highlight covers.
  • Campaign creatives for launches, festivals, and offers.
  • Create engaging hooks visually using typography, layout, and imagery.
  • Adapt creatives for paid ads (Meta/Google) with performance in mind (CTR, thumb-stop).


3. Website & E-commerce Assets

  • Design website hero banners, collection banners, and product highlight sections.
  • Create PDP assets: size charts, fabric details, icons, badges (bestseller, new, limited stock).
  • Work with the website/Shopify team to maintain design consistency and clarity.


4. Photo & Video Support

  • Create moodboards and reference decks for shoots.
  • Collaborate with photographers and models to ensure brand-aligned visuals.
  • Do basic photo editing (cropping, color correction, background cleanup).
  • Edit short reels / product videos (text overlays, transitions, simple effects).


5. Collaboration & Planning

  • Work closely with marketing to understand:
  • Launch calendar, festivals, sale periods, new collections.
  • Customer insights: what’s working, what’s not.
  • Plan creative buckets and templates for faster execution (eg. “New In”, “Under 1500”, “Office Wear Edit”, “Plus Size Friendly”).
  • Manage multiple design requests with clear priorities and deadlines.



Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Graphic Designer / Visual Designer, preferably in:
  • Fashion / Lifestyle / D2C / E-commerce.
  • Strong command of:
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (core).
  • Any of: Adobe XD / Figma / Canva / Premiere Pro / After Effects (basic working knowledge is enough).
  • Good sense of:
  • Color, typography, and layout.
  • Styling for Indian ethnic wear / women’s fashion.
  • Ability to design for both digital and print.
  • Comfortable working with Hindi + English text / Hinglish hooks when needed.
  • Strong portfolio showing:
  • Social media creatives.
  • Website / banner designs.
  • Branding/packaging or campaign work.


Good-to-Have (Bonus)
  • Experience with UI/UX for Shopify or other e-commerce sites.
  • Basics of motion graphics (animated stories, simple GIFs).
  • Experience in shoot planning or fashion lookbooks.
  • Interest in Indian textiles, crafts, and ethnic fashion.
