Mahukaa is a contemporary women's wear brand under Duckman Studio Pvt. Ltd., known for its elegant designs, quality craftsmanship, and modern aesthetic rooted in Indian traditions. We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Designer to join our growing team in Jaipur.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new seasonal collections in alignment with the brand's vision and market trends.
- Coordinate with pattern masters to create khaka (design sketches and patterns).
- Manage sampling, fabric selection, and garment construction processes.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Prepare design articles and concepts for lookbooks and photoshoots.
- Oversee styling and coordination during model shoots.
- Research emerging trends, materials, and techniques to bring innovation to designs.
- Maintain strong communication with vendors, artisans, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
3- 5 years of experience in women's wear design.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, color theory, and trend forecasting.
- Proficiency in sketching, draping, and garment construction.
- Knowledge of fabrics, embroidery techniques, and surface ornamentation.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
