Drive & deliver this role you will be part of an infrastructure Design Team in an enterprise IT organization, providing solutions to achieve business requirements. This position requires the candidate to provide full stack services support to the product development teams consisting of cloud, design, network, operating system, operational integrations and virtualization platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES :


- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based platforms and services leveraging best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and scripts using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources to ensure consistency and repeatability.


- Manage a team, from hiring and training to reviews and terminations.


- Give direction and set priorities for a team of Engineers.


- Working experience of installation, configuration and maintenance, design, deployment, monitoring, develop, upgrade and support of cloud infrastructure by automation.


- Experience with AWS and Azure infrastructure with automation and configuration management tools.


- Continuous innovations to provide and support scalable and performant strategies for production cloud infrastructure, improving and ensuring reliability across our systems.


- Partner with Security teams to enhance security posture and manage vulnerabilities across our systems.


QUALIFICATIONS :


- Minimum 15+ years of technical project delivery.


- 10+ year experience working within a public cloud environment, preferably AWS and Azure


- Previous people management experience in resource allocation, workload prioritization, and capacity planning


- Must be a team player with a strong, self-managing work ethic.


- Strong oral and written communication skills


- Demonstrate ownership of customer's concerns - assess impact, troubleshoot logically, engage relevant stakeholders, identify root cause, and resolve them to the satisfaction of our customers.


- Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols


- Previous experience implementing container strategies, i.e. Kubernetes, Docker


- Must have experience working in an agile environment as part of a product outcome


- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies for project planning and execution


- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for managing infrastructure deployments as code


- Experience with security compliance and audits. Must be able to train fellow employees in security awareness and procedures


- Must have the ability and willingness to be hands-on when needed. This includes experience using the tools and techniques to debug problems across a wide array of Operating systems, Cloud Platforms and Hardware


- Configuring and supporting the implementation & maintenance security tools and implementing system endpoint security policies


- Must understand Automation and be able to direct individuals in creating playbooks Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation


- Must have experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and driving automation across development and deployment processes


- Knowledge of emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. cloud, network, data center, hardware, software) and the best practices.


- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Experience with monitoring tools to track system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or cloud-native monitoring services


- Knowledge of SDLC / Agile / Scrum methodologies


- Familiarity of Google and other cloud providers is a bonus


- Experience with connecting the application tier to the infrastructure tier


- Understanding of cloud security principles, secure coding practices, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)


- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and analytics platforms for data-driven insights


- Understanding of ML/AI concepts and their integration within cloud environments for predictive analytics or automation
