Role Overview:

We are looking for a Retention & Email Marketing Specialist to join our India team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and repeat purchases through effective email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with the growth, product, and design teams to deliver personalized and impactful customer journeys.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute retention marketing strategies across email, SMS, and push notifications.
  • Design and manage customer lifecycle campaigns — onboarding, win-back, replenishment, loyalty, and referral programs.
  • Segment and analyze customer data to create personalized campaigns that improve repeat purchase rates and LTV.
  • Work with design/content teams to create engaging copy and creatives aligned with brand tone.
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize for open/click rates, conversions, and ROI.
  • Implement A/B testing: Continuously test subject lines, content, timing, and workflows to refine campaigns and improve key performance metrics.
  • Stay updated with retention marketing tools, automation platforms, and best practices.


Requirements

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in retention/lifecycle/email marketing.
  • Prior experience in E-commerce / D2C brands is a must.
  • Expertise in marketing automation tools like Braze, HubSpot, and Klaviyo
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, product, and tech teams.
