Originally Desi is a premium heritage food brand rooted in authenticity and tradition. We craft pure, organic products including A2 bilona ghee, wood-pressed oils, raw forest honey, and traditional superfoods using age-old methods passed down through generations.

We’re looking for a high-energy, persuasive, and customer-centric Inside Sales Representative who can convert leads into loyal customers.
You’ll speak to customers who’ve shown interest like abandoned carts, inbound queries, website leads, and past buyers & convert that interest into successful orders.
Your voice, product knowledge, and ability to build trust will play a key role in shaping first impressions of Originally Desi.
- Make outbound calls to abandoned cart customers, warm leads, and website inquiries.
- Handle inbound calls with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
- Understand customer needs and guide them toward the right product.
- Cross-sell and upsell products wherever relevant without being pushy.
- Achieve weekly and monthly conversion targets.
- Build strong rapport with customers through meaningful, solution-driven conversations.
- Follow up on leads consistently to maximize conversions.
- Address customer doubts, concerns, or objections with patience and strong product understanding.
- Document customer interactions, preferences, and outcomes accurately.
- Gain deep understanding of OD products like A2 ghee, oils, honey, superfoods, sourcing practices, health benefits.
- Explain product differences, authenticity, and value propositions clearly.
- Help customers understand why our products stand out in a crowded marketplace.
- Identify recurring customer objections and suggest improvements in product communication.
- Share insights with marketing and operations teams to refine funnels and processes.
- Track personal performance metrics.
- Work closely with customer experience, marketing, and operations teams for smooth order handling.
- Update CRM with lead status, interaction notes, and next steps.
- Ensure every customer you speak to has a seamless pre- and post-purchase experience.
- 2+ years in inside sales, telesales, customer calling, or lead conversion roles preferably in D2C, FMCG, or e-commerce.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good understanding of CRM tools, lead pipelines, and sales dashboards.
- A customer-first mindset with high empathy and patience.
- Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
