Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Ecommerce Manager located in Bengaluru. The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for managing the brand's online sales strategy, from optimizing product listings and running campaigns to handling logistics and analyzing performance metrics. Key duties include managing the online store and marketplaces, overseeing inventory and order fulfillment, and using data analysis to drive growth, all while collaborating with marketing and customer service teams. The role requires a data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and others. Key responsibilitiesE-commerce platform management:Manage product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing for maximum visibility and conversions.Oversee the e-commerce trading calendar and execute seasonal and promotional campaigns.Ensure website functionality and handle technical issues.Sales and performance optimization:Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, Average Order Value (AOV), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities.Conduct competitor and pricing analysis.Analyze customer behavior to improve the user journey and run A/B tests.Operations and logistics:Manage inventory levels and coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.Handle financial reconciliations across platforms and manage returns efficiently.Collaboration and strategy:Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and finance teams to execute campaigns and provide seamless customer experiences.Develop and manage the overall online business strategy for the D2C channel.Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends and best practices. Required skills and experienceExperience: 3-5+ years in e-commerce operations or online marketplace management.Platform expertise: Hands-on experience with platforms such as Shopify, Myntra, Amazon, and other D2C or marketplace platforms.Analytical skills: Strong analytical and data-driven mindset for performance improvement.Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Technical proficiency: Comfortable with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
