The Principal Consultant leverages their deep SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) expertise to design, implement, and optimize processes across demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4 HANA and ECC systems.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Facilitate design workshops and solution prototyping to align with client needs.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard sessions focusing on demand planning requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring solutions enhance demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization processes.
- Design and implement integrations between IBP and ECC using SAP CI-DS.
- Develop key documentation, including BPDs, test scripts, training materials, and functional specifications for data integration and WRICEF objects.
- Oversee SIT and UAT testing, addressing issues to ensure a seamless solution deployment.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
- Support management with strategy development and roadmap planning.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Minimum 5 years of SAP IBP experience, including at least 3 end-to-end implementations.
- Expertise in supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization with SAP IBP.
- Solid foundation in SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and proven ability to configure and customize IBP.
- Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (SAP CI-DS) and real-time integration.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Familiarity with SAP MM, PP, and SD modules, as well as SAP APO, is a plus.
- Skilled in solving ambiguous, unstructured problems and delivering best-fit SAP solutions for customers.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and stakeholder follow-up.
