Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Product Owner to lead the vision, development, and delivery of AI/Gen AI products within our Life Sciences portfolio. This role will focus on transforming business challenges across R&D, Clinical Trials, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial Operations into scalable AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on US and European markets.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/Gen AI offerings in Life Sciences.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and delivery teams to align product strategy with client needs and business growth.

Requirements Gathering & Prioritization

  • Engage with Life Sciences clients to understand domain-specific challenges and requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value, feasibility, compliance (FDA, EMA), and strategic fit.

Agile Product Development

  • Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering/data science teams.
  • Lead agile ceremonies and ensure clarity of product vision and sprint goals.
  • Monitor development progress, resolve blockers, and manage risks proactively.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Communicate product plans, updates, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across client and internal teams to foster alignment and collaboration.

Market & Industry Expertise

  • Stay current with AI/Gen AI technologies (LLMs, GANs, Transformers, RL) and their Life Sciences applications.
  • Develop domain expertise in drug discovery, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory submissions, and commercialization.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) in product design.

Product Launch & Performance

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and training teams for successful product launches.
  • Define and track KPIs, analyze usage data, and drive continuous product improvement.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years in product management, with 2–3 years focused on AI/ML products.
  • Proven experience with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, GPT-series, Stable Diffusion).
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharma.
  • Experience with US and/or European clients.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience.

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with tools like Python, R, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and organized.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
