That’s our DNA.Roles and ResponsibilitiesMindstix is looking for DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers. As a member of our Cloud Engineering team, you have an opportunity to work on modern cloud-native infrastructure using our bleeding-edge DevOps toolchain.Design Infrastructure Architecture as per solution needs - Follow well architectured frameworkDevelop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK)Deploy and maintain production infrastructure hosted on AWSDesign and develop advanced observability solutions (OTEL, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk)Build and design CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Argo CD + Code Build )Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issuesCapacity planningDrive down operational cost through automation and system designPromote security excellence across a broad set of internal and external customersDefine and create standard operating procedures for support teamsImplementing “actionable” alerts Work closely with the service development team - offering education and guidance on integration, support, and monitoring across the toolsetDemonstrate troubleshooting skills Deep knowledge of the services running on the infrastructureAutomate processes - Have understanding of self service tools like Backstage.What you need to know:Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS) and IAC tools (Terraform and CDK)Mastery in KubernetesProven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experienceExperience with distributed systems, networking, hardware, logistics, and operations, or capacity planningStrong written and oral communication skills are required.Ability to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously4+ years of experience handling critical production grade infrastructure2+ years of software development experience is preferredQualifications and SkillsBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or allied streams.5+ years of hands-on experience in building virtualized cloud infrastructure and deploying applications to cloud environments: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Cloud Foundations: Strong foundations in virtualization, infrastructure-as-code, containers, private, hybrid, and public cloud computing concepts.Programming Foundations: Strong hands-on experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, GoLang, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Bash, Powershell.OS Proficiency: Proficiency in system administration on Linux and Windows.Toolchain Expertise:Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKSHelm, SpinnakerTerraform, CDK, AWS CloudFormationJenkins, GitHub ActionsAWS CLI, Azure CLIELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, DynatraceChef, Puppet, AnsibleJIRA, Confluence, SlackCI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience in building Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines at enterprise scale.
