Yoda Tech Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based company that focuses on dividing digitalization into small logical Micro initiatives with ready-to-use Micro-bots. The company aims to reduce IT operations spend by emphasizing Automate + Robotize, Power Application Development, Infrastructure, Maintenance, and Support.

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0, and modern data practices including dbt, Git, DataOps, and DevOps. This role requires strong architectural thinking, technical leadership, and hands-on involvement in delivering scalable, high-impact data solutions. You will be instrumental in defining, evolving, and delivering data products that power business insights.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements.
• Proactively identify and communicate architectural concerns, constraints, and improvement areas.
• Architectural Strategy & Design:
• Design scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures using Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0.
• Continuously evolve architecture in response to new use cases and data product needs.
• Data Product & Pipeline Development:
• Translate business requirements into data product blueprints and architecture artifacts.
• Work closely with engineering teams to implement architecture using modern tools and frameworks including dbt.
• Enablement & Governance:
• Guide and mentor development teams across Agile sprints, ensuring alignment to architecture.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and lineage across all pipelines.
• Engineering Best Practices:
• Design and build robust, maintainable pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Apply DataOps and DevOps principles to promote automation, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring of data products.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Act as a key technical leader across data initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks and drive delivery.
• Promote and improve best practices and standards across the data engineering lifecycle.
  

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles.
• Proven expertise with Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0 (certification is a strong plus).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and transformation tools such as dbt.
• Strong experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices (GitLab preferred).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and structured/unstructured data processing.
• Experience applying DataOps and DevOps in data pipeline development and delivery.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and cataloging best practices.
• Experience with distributed data architectures, data sharing, and data mesh principles.
• Understanding of data input/output formats, including APIs, file extracts, and UI integrations.
• Commercial domain experience (especially in DIA or similar business areas) is a strong advantage.
