Coin your trust in us as we create magic togetherYou need to be a HODLer of theseRequired6-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, risk management, or product management roles, with at least 3 years in fintech or crypto/trading environmentsStrong understanding of market microstructure, trading systems, and risk management frameworksProven track record of defining and executing strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomesExperience creating technical requirements documents and working closely with engineering teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approachExcellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesPreferredExperience with crypto spot and derivatives trading (futures, options, perpetual swaps)Background in market risk, counterparty risk, or operational risk managementFamiliarity with order matching engines, liquidation mechanisms, and margin systemsUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for crypto exchanges in India (if applicable)Experience with system design for high-throughput, low-latency trading systemsMBA or relevant advanced degreeWhat You'll BringStrategic Thinking: Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision, making tradeoffs that optimize for sustainable growthRisk Mindset: Deep understanding of how to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks without stifling innovationTechnical Fluency: Comfortable working with engineering teams on system architecture and technical specificationsMetrics Orientation: Obsessed with measuring what matters and driving continuous improvementCollaboration: Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders without direct authorityAdaptability: Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with changing prioritiesYou will be mining through these tasksStrategic Planning & ExecutionOwn the strategic vision and quarterly roadmaps for risk management and cost optimization across all trading productsIdentify gaps in current processes and systems, prioritizing initiatives based on risk-return tradeoffsPartner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to translate strategy into executable plansRisk Management & System DesignCreate detailed BRDs outlining non-functional requirements for trading systems, with emphasis on risk controls, latency optimization, and throughput capacityDesign risk frameworks and intervention mechanisms for spot, derivatives, and structured productsConduct scenario analysis and stress testing to identify vulnerabilities and build mitigation strategiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Product and Engineering to ensure system designs meet risk and performance requirementsCollaborate with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory alignment in all strategic initiativesPartner with Finance to optimize cost structures while maintaining operational resilienceOrganizational Design & MetricsDefine and implement organizational structures that support scalability and clear accountabilityEstablish KPIs and success metrics for Markets sub-teams (Risk, Trading Operations, Custody, Market Making)Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track performance against strategic objectivesProcess OptimizationIdentify opportunities to improve security, risk controls, and operational efficiency across trade and custody workflowsDrive initiatives to reduce error rates and improve turnaround times (TAT) across critical processesChampion automation and tooling improvements to scale operations efficientlySuccess MetricsYour performance will be measured by:Cost of Liquidity: Reduce the cost of liquidity for trading productsRisk-Adjusted Profitability: Reduce losses as a percentage of revenue due to negative equity events (slippage, suboptimal liquidations)Process Excellence: Achieve improvement in upgraded processes from security, risk, and efficiency perspectives, measured by:Turnaround time (TAT) reductionError rate improvementRisk incident reductionOperational Quality: Drive error rates in trade and custody processes below [X]%, with shared ownership across respective teamsStrategic Delivery: Successfully deliver on quarterly roadmap commitments with measurable impact on business metricsAre you the one?
