Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for an IBM Storage Architect.

The Storage Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing storage solutions, troubleshooting storage-related issues, and managing storage infrastructure.

The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective storage operations.

Qualifications :

- Storage Architecture, Storage Solutions, and Storage skills

- Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills

- Experience in managing storage infrastructure

- Strong understanding of storage technologies and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Relevant certifications in storage technologies are a plus

- Experience in the IT industry is a plus

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement storage solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of storage infrastructure.

- Manage and maintain storage infrastructure, including storage arrays, SAN switches, and backup systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.

- Monitor storage performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and capacity constraints.

- Implement and maintain data protection and disaster recovery strategies, including backup and replication solutions.

- Stay updated on emerging storage technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's storage infrastructure.

- Document storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior storage administrators, fostering their professional growth and development.

- Participate in change management processes, ensuring the successful implementation of storage-related changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
