Job Description:

Synechron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of extensive experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Banking and Financial Services (IB Domain). You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test solutions to ensure the quality and performance of our cutting-edge banking applications.

Technical Skills (Must Have):

Selenium, Java, SQL ,BDD (Cucumber/TestNG),Rest Assured, CI/CD, IB Domain

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, and BDD tools such as Cucumber or TestNG.
• Design and execute automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend services leveraging Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation scripts.
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and delivery.
• Create and maintain SQL queries to validate backend data and test result integrity.
• Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to automation best practices and standard operating procedures within the IB Domain.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver automation framework.
• Expert in Java programming for automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or TestNG.
• Solid understanding of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of the Investment Banking (IB) Domain and related processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
