We are now seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who can lead Hare Krishna Charities’s digital transformation and impact storytelling — someone who can turn purpose into measurable progress, and build a digital presence that attracts both hearts and resources.
Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role — ideal for someone who has led impact-driven projects, understands the fundraising landscape (CapEx and RevEx), and can unify storytelling, performance marketing, and donor engagement into a single, coherent strategy.
You’ll head a small but high-performing creative and digital team and collaborate closely with leadership to scale HKMCF’s initiatives through thoughtful digital communication and data-backed campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute a comprehensive digital marketing and fundraising roadmap across all HKMCF verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team — designer, videographer/editor, campaign and social media specialists.
- Develop annual and quarterly plans with clear KPIs for reach, engagement, and fundraising growth.
2. Fundraising & Impact Campaigns
- Plan and run digital fundraising campaigns for both CapEx (infrastructure) and RevEx (operations) needs.
- Build donor acquisition and retention funnels through targeted digital initiatives.
- Partner with creative and external agencies to produce cause-based storytelling and donor communication assets.
3. Brand & Content Leadership
- Shape HKMCF’s digital brand voice across web, social media, video, and email channels.
- Lead storytelling initiatives that highlight beneficiaries, programs, and outcomes with authenticity and emotional resonance.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual identity across all campaigns and platforms.
4. Performance, Analytics & Reporting
- Manage ad spends, ROI tracking, and fundraising performance metrics across platforms.
- Generate data-driven insights to optimize ongoing campaigns.
- Present monthly and quarterly performance reports to leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong track record of executing impact or fundraising campaigns for non-profits, CSR programs, or educational institutions.
- Deep understanding of digital ecosystems — SEO/SEM, paid media, analytics, automation, CRM tools, and content strategy.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and creative judgment skills.
- Ability to balance empathy, storytelling, and performance metrics.
- Passionate about purpose-driven communication and creating measurable social impact.
