About the Role

Amity University Kolkata invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology. Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Delivery

  • Teach courses in Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, Psychological Assessment, Psychotherapy, and Counseling at UG and PG levels.
  • Conduct laboratory sessions, case analysis, and supervised clinical practicum.
  • Guide student dissertations, internships, and fieldwork.
  • Implement innovative teaching methodologies and outcome-based learning models.

Clinical Training & Supervision

  • Oversee practicum activities and supervise clinical casework.
  • Facilitate student training in psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with mental health clinics, hospitals, and community centers for training programs.

Research & Publications

  • Engage in research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic conferences.

Academic Administration & Contribution

Required Qualifications

  • M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (RCI-approved) OR Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (preferred).

  • Strong academic background with demonstrated teaching ability.
  • Clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Research experience with publications in quality journals preferred.
