This involves creating technical designs, overseeing governance and best practices, and providing strategic technical leadership on large-scale projects.Key responsibilitiesStrategic Design: Define and lead the overall Salesforce architecture vision, aligning it with business goals and the Salesforce platform roadmap.Solution Development: Design scalable and sustainable solutions that consider factors like governor limits, APIs, and data volume. Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities and determine when custom solutions are needed.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed across implementations.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical experts to gather requirements and communicate architectural decisions.Governance and Best Practices: Develop and enforce technical standards, governance processes, and best practices for Salesforce development and data security.Project Oversight: Lead or participate in the definition and scoping of projects, provide accurate workload estimates, and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.Innovation and Improvement: Stay current with new Salesforce features and advise on emerging technologies. Review existing implementations to identify optimization opportunities.Documentation: Create and maintain technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and other architectural artifacts.Integration: Design and manage integrations with other enterprise systems, often involving middleware solutions like MuleSoft. Required skills and qualificationsSalesforce Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including core clouds like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, as well as configuration and development tools.Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks and concepts like data governance, scalability, and security.System Integration: Expertise in system integration, API management, and data architecture.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial for translating technical concepts and collaborating across teams.
