About the Opportunity

⚙️ What You’ll Lead

️ Define & drive the technical roadmap for location search, routing, and traffic intelligence systems.

Architect next-gen graph-based routing engines for real-time, multimodal, and EV-aware navigation.

Lead development of dynamic traffic models, forecasting, and real-time visualisation using AI/ML.

Enhance search & discovery – geocoding, POI ranking, and personalised location intelligence.

☁️ Ensure platforms are cloud-native, scalable, and low-latency, built on modern microservices & streaming data pipelines.

Integrate multi-source data (GPS probes, IoT sensors, crowdsourced traffic, and government feeds).

Apply machine learning for ETA prediction, congestion detection, demand forecasting, and route personalisation.

Build, mentor, and scale high-performance engineering and data science teams.

️ Set engineering best practices for reliability, observability, and security of real-time systems.

Drive IP creation in routing algorithms, data pipelines, and APIs that redefine mobility.

Partner with product, business, and automotive stakeholders to align tech execution with market vision.


What You Bring

Proven expertise in graph algorithms, shortest-path routing, and traffic-aware navigation.

Strong understanding of geospatial systems — map data structures, PostGIS, Elasticsearch, spatial indexing.

Hands-on with AI/ML for traffic forecasting, ETA, and mobility analytics.

Experience building large-scale, real-time distributed systems with Kafka, Spark/Flink, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure.

Track record of leading high-impact engineering teams and delivering production-grade platforms.

Strategic thinker — balances innovation with execution; understands mobility, logistics, and automotive use cases deeply.

Inspirational leader — able to mentor, motivate, and scale cross-functional tech orgs.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a strong product sense.
