Role Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping operations for multiple international clients.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions.
  • Lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers; provide training, guidance, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure timely closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.
  • Liaise with clients to understand needs and resolve queries promptly.
  • Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
  • Generate and review financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.
  • Coordinate with tax teams for year-end audit and compliance work.
  • Continuously optimize bookkeeping processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Use and administer accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ of experience in bookkeeping/accounting, with 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience handling international accounting/bookkeeping operations.
  • Familiarity with US accounting practices is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, Sage, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.
