About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer to lead the end-to-end design process for our seasonal men’s collections. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative, on-brand designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Seasonal Design Cycle: Drive the full design process for men’s collections—trend forecasting, concept development, sketching, and creating accurate tech-packs.
- Material Sourcing & Coordination: Oversee fabric, trims, and swatch selection; collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective materials.
- Sample Development & Fit Evaluation: Manage prototype creation and fittings; provide precise revisions and constructive feedback to vendors and internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sourcing, production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution from design concept to retail launch.
- Design Documentation: Maintain organized archives of mood boards, tech-packs, and digital assets for reference and future use.
- Brand Alignment & Commercial Goals: Ensure all designs reflect brand identity, meet budget and timeline requirements, and align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in men’s apparel design, preferably in a retail or brand environment.
- Strong skills in trend analysis, sketching (hand or digital), and creating detailed tech-packs.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
